About Alina
Alina Bocu is an Executive Director and Wealth Planner covering the West Coast Region for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's Wealth Planning and Advice team.
A Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Alina has more than 15 years of experience advising high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients and their families. She provides comprehensive financial planning focused on designing clients' financial, estate and charitable giving plans, trust and estate planning, gifting strategies, philanthropic planning and multi-generational wealth transfers.
Alina joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, after serving as a Senior Vice President at First Republic since 2019. Previously, she was a Wealth Planner at UBS Europe SE, Luxembourg, an International Tax Advisor at Loeb, Block and Partners, LLP, and a Tax Advisor at Bessemer Trust Company in New York.
Alina has an M.S. in Taxation from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Business from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. She holds a diploma in Financial Planning from New York University and is a member of the Diablo Valley Estate Planning Council and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), San Francisco Chapter. She has also trained with George Kinder and the Kinder Institute of Life Planning in the EVOKE® Life Planning methodology.
