About Alex
Alex Teodorescu is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Alex performs a variety of critical investment-related functions to support his team's client base, which is comprised of individual clients and business owners. He builds portfolios, runs analytics and selects qualified investments, focusing primarily on ESOP transactions.
In addition, Alex's responsibilities include structured and alternative investments such as private equity and hedge funds. He finds it personally gratifying to identify opportunities that address clients' needs and see them come to fruition.
Alex began his financial services career working in investment operations at an Atlanta-based RIA broker-dealer. He then moved to Truist Financial Corporation (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) in Los Angeles, where he was a member of an investment banking group that advised film, television and digital content companies on capital-raising transactions. He assumed his current role at J.P. Morgan in 2021.
Alex graduated from the University of Georgia, earning a B.S. in Finance from the Terry School of Business. While there, he was selected to participate in the semester-abroad program at the Vienna School of Economics and Business.
An avid tennis player since childhood, Alex also enjoys playing golf, hiking and watching UGA football. He frequently travels to Europe, especially to Romania, where his family lives, to explore their heritage.
