About Bailey
Bailey Izard is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
A native of Atlanta, Bailey has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.
Working with affluent families and institutions, as well as their respective trusts, estates, foundations and endowments, Bailey focuses on comprehensive wealth management. He assists clients with investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction and engineering, tax and estate planning, charitable giving, hedging concentrated stock positions and planning for the sale of privately-held businesses.
Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Bailey was a Principal and Financial Advisor in the Private Client Group at Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Prior to Bernstein, his work experience includes over 15 years in business, merchant banking and investment banking. He was a Co-Founder and CFO of Infusion3, LLC, an Atlanta-based technology company; spent seven years as a partner with the Breckenridge Group, an Atlanta-based investment banking firm; and worked for five years on Wall Street with Kidder, Peabody & Co. as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and the Corporate Finance groups. He also spent two years on the floor of the U.S. Senate as an assistant to the Senate Majority Leader.
Bailey earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
Bailey and his wife, Kerry, have four sons, David, Mack, George and James. Bailey has held a number of leadership roles for regional nonprofit organizations and is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Nature Conservancy in Georgia. Previously, he has served as Board Chair for the Georgia Conservancy, the Jekyll Island Foundation and the Legacy Giving Campaign for the Lovett School.
In his spare time, Bailey enjoys outdoor pursuits with his family, including hiking, fishing, hunting and golf.
