About Robert

Rob Douglass is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. He partners with Beth Kytle Chandler and Rich Hathaway, serving high-net-worth clients, including business executives, foundations and entrepreneurs. Because a majority of his clients are first-generation entrepreneurs and business owners, Rob often finds they do not want to be constrained by “off-the-shelf” asset allocation models, but rather are looking for cutting-edge thinking and customized approaches to growing and protecting their wealth. Rob realizes that a successful business relationship is rooted in an open dialogue with his clients, and as a result, he is determined to continuously maintain an outstanding and evolving service model. From the start, investors need to know what to expect. Together, they discuss objectives, goals and challenges. To Rob, it’s important to educate his clients on their options, including upside and downside potential. Every client’s financial plan offers a customized approach to their particular circumstances. Rob leverages his own experience in the financial markets, as well as the insights, intellectual capital and resources available at J.P. Morgan, to assist his clients with investments, trusts and estates, premier banking, mortgages, credit and philanthropy. Rob has focused on private wealth management for his entire 15-year career. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2014, Rob was at Credit Suisse for 10 years and at Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 2000. Rob graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina and received his M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2004. Rob lives in Atlanta with his wife, Elinor, and their three children. In his free time, Rob enjoys playing golf, skiing and traveling. He also coaches his sons’ football and rugby teams, and supports their basketball and baseball teams, as well as his daughter’s soccer, swimming and softball teams.
