Dontrelle Inman is a Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Dontrelle partners with a diverse range of high-achieving individuals, including executives, business owners, retirees and professional athletes/entertainers, to offer tailored guidance to address their needs and pursue their goals. Through collaboration with clients' external advisors and J.P. Morgan's deep bench of specialists and thought leaders, he delivers a comprehensive planning experience encompassing all aspects of a client's financial scenario—portfolio design, liquidity management, lending, banking and legacy/exit strategies.
As a former professional athlete and business founder, Dontrelle understands the significance of wise wealth planning, sound advice and coaching, and the commitment required to succeed. His first- hand experience in the NFL has provided an insider's perspective on the complexities that professional athletes and entertainers face, especially when balancing short- term earning potential and long-term stability. Dontrelle's personal journey has fueled his passion for helping athletes and highly ambitious individuals bridge the gap between wealth accumulation and sustained financial well-being. He is dedicated to guiding them through the intricacies of wealth management, investment strategies and long-term financial security.
Dontrelle joined J.P. Morgan in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience from his entrepreneurial ventures as the founder of two successful companies. He spent a decade in the NFL, which took him through the ranks of the league's elite, suiting up for teams such as the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. He has a reputation for excelling in high-pressure situations.
Dontrelle holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he played wide receiver for the Cavaliers' Division I football program. He is finishing an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He has completed the SIE exam and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, and raised in the Columbia area, Dontrelle now resides in Atlanta with his family. He is a dedicated community member who volunteers as a grade-school coach, blending his desire to give back with his passion for healthy competition. Dontrelle is the proud father of four children: Emory, who is being recruited to play Division I basketball at UVA, Dontrelle Jr., Porter and Paxton. In his free time, he enjoys interior design, art and playing a variety of instruments, including piano and trombone.
