About Allison
Allison Viola Jane Short is a Senior Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of the Buchanan Group, Allison provides operational and execution support for high-net-worth individuals and families. Her responsibilities include maintaining account records, supporting onboarding procedures, facilitating fund transfers, responding to ad hoc requests and coordinating the operational aspects of the team. Working closely with advisors and clients, Allison helps support the team's day-today service and operational activities.
Allison joined J.P. Morgan in 2024. She began her career in 2015 at Merrill Lynch, Pearce, Fenner & Smith Inc., where, as a Financial Advisor, she developed a thoughtful, client-focused approach. Allison earned a B.B.A. in Professional Finance from the University of North Alabama. She holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation.
Outside of the office, Allison is active in her community, participating in Yelp events and a variety of volunteer activities. She lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and participating in recreational sports.
