About Bob
Robert Buchanan is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Leveraging more than four decades of experience, Bob offers a suite of wealth management services including wealth planning and portfolio management. He leans on wide-ranging knowledge gleaned from multiple market cycles to tailor strategies that align with each client's needs, concerns and goals. Bob works closely with clients to help them navigate the emotional side of investing, providing seasoned perspective and a steady hand as they shape their financial journey.
Bob joined J.P. Morgan in 2025 after spending more than 26 years at UBS Financial Services, Inc. Earlier in his career, he held positions at J.C. Bradford & Co., Dain Rauscher Incorporated and Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. Bob earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Bob and his wife, Britt, have two children, Mark and Caitlin, along with three grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan and Reagan.
