About John
John Neff III is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, John works with individuals, families and nonprofit organizations to address a broad spectrum of wealth management needs. His services span cash flow analysis, budgeting, investment planning, education funding strategies, risk management, insurance, and retirement and estate planning. John takes a comprehensive, process-driven approach, working closely with clients to help align their financial resources with their life priorities.
John joined J.P. Morgan in 2025 from a Senior Portfolio Manager role at UBS, where he served clients through the Portfolio Management Program. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Texas Longhorns baseball team.
Deeply engaged in community service, John is Chairman of the investment subcommittee of the YMCA of the Rockies and serves on the investment and finance committee of the Seminary of the Southwest.
He volunteers with Meals on Wheels and Mobile Loaves & Fishes, mentors at Padrón Elementary School, participates in the Dell Children's Trust, and serves in the Cancer Care Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church. His past leadership roles include serving as finance chairman and board member of Habitat for Humanity, investment committee member for Helping Hand Home, church deacon, core leader of Adult Community Bible Study, and board member of the Children's Blood & Cancer Center. He has also chaired the CASA of Travis County Golf Tournament, served as president of Travis County Texas Exes and Young Men's Business League, and was a founding board member of Wonders & Worries. John spent 23 years as an appointee on the St. David's Hospital Board, served as senior warden at St. David's Episcopal Church, led Teen Community Bible Study, participated in Leadership Austin and volunteered with Drive-a-Senior.
John and his wife, Keni, have been married since 1976 and have three sons, five granddaughters and two grandsons. A lifelong baseball player and enthusiast, he has coached in the community for more than 30 years, including for his grandson's current Little League team.
