About Bill

Bill Shapiro is a Vice President and Investment Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Bill works closely with clients, advisors, strategists, asset class leaders and investment product professionals to tailor strategies and build portfolios that align with clients' needs and goals. He assists clients with all facets of their investments, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, private investments, fund selection and implementation options.

Bill joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2024 after spending eight years at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, working first as a Banker and then as a Business Manager for the Investments and Advice organization. As a Banker, Bill worked directly with clients, using his deep understanding of financial strategies to advise clients across investments, credit, long-term estate planning and wealth transfers. In his role as Business Manager, Bill represented the business in strategic initiatives including the rollout of the Private Bank's Insurance platform, a Series 65 licensing uplift, and enhancing monitoring and controls around overdrafts and commissions.

A graduate of NYU Stern School of Business, Bill holds an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Strategy. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Carleton College. Bill also holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

A Los Angeles resident, Bill is married and has three children. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, and spending time outdoors with his family.
