About David
David Stecker is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
David works closely with an accomplished clientele, providing them with the perspective, advice and one-on-one attention to support their aspirations and deploy their wealth with greater purpose. To each of these relationships, David offers diligence and responsiveness that underscore his work ethic.
He advises a limited number of clients by design and takes the time to know clients intimately, being sensitive to the challenges that can characterize significant wealth—both said and unsaid. David believes the clients in his care rest more easily knowing he is overseeing their financial affairs.
Clients from many paths engage David's advice, including entrepreneurs, founders, executives and professional investors. He serves as a single, reliable resource for any financial need—fulfilling those priorities himself or connecting clients to his wider network of subject matter experts.
With more than 25 years of wealth-management experience, David applies the acumen he has gained from advising a sophisticated clientele whose needs include tailoring a wealth plan, customizing tax-sensitive portfolios, preparing clients for upcoming liquidity event planning and helping families navigate sensitive wealth dynamics.
David joined J.P. Morgan in 2023 from First Republic Private Wealth Management. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years as a Senior Wealth Advisor at Citigroup in New York City. He earned his B.S. in Finance cum laude from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. Committed to professional excellence, he holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.
David and his wife, Ariana, live in Boca Raton and are very proud of their two sons. Eager to give back to their community, they are active in local philanthropies. In his free time, David enjoys cycling, fishing and golf.
CFP Board owns the marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S.
