About William
William “Bill” Graham is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Bill’s financial wisdom and dedication to serving clients’ best interests with a fiduciary level of care have long defined his group’s offering. For three decades, he has provided world-class advice to clients who appreciate his deep investment experience and warm personality. Responsible for the group’s overall portfolio management, his focus includes fixed income, equities, ETFs, mutual funds and alternative investments. He is also a member of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, a select group of advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary client portfolios and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative reviews to assess their investment strategies.
Bill is sensitive to the myriad challenges facing wealthy people and the opportunities available to them. He is proud to be a “sounding board” for clients, encouraging them to ask his opinion on their ideas or any financial matter. Bill’s familiarity with clients’ attitudes toward wealth, risk, and life (in general) allow him to be an effective resource, connecting clients with each other and his own network of specialists.
Bill joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023 from First Republic, where he spent 13 years, most recently as a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Prior to that, he spent two years at UBS Financial Services as a Senior Vice President of Investments, where he developed asset allocation strategies and investment programs.
Before UBS Financial Services, Bill was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at U.S. Trust Company Private Wealth Management from 2003 to 2008 and a Vice President and CFO of the private asset management division of State Street Global Advisors from 1997 to 2003. Bill launched his career at The Boston Company as Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager in the lending division which was acquired by BNY Mellon Corporation.
Bill holds a B.S.B.A. from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Babson College. He is also a graduate of the ABA National Trust School. High energy inside and outside the office, Bill is an avid skier, cyclist and fisherman. He and his wife, Kristin, are proud parents of three adult children (and one dog). They make their home in Acton, Massachusetts.
