About Scott

Scott Price is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

A seasoned veteran of wealth management, Scott joined the firm in 2023 from First Republic where he served for eleven years. Prior to that, Scott led an advisory group he founded at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2005.

Scott began his career in 1980 at Kidder, Peabody & Co. as an account executive in the firm's Boston office. He remained at Kidder through its merger with Paine Webber and subsequently UBS, where he delivered customized investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families. Scott earned a reputation for excellence early in his career—becoming the youngest person ever elected as a shareholder at Kidder Peabody & Co. in its 125-year history

Today, Scott uses his decades of investment knowledge to help create real-world strategies for clients he has come to know and admire. He believes that providing superior wealth management demands that he help clients make informed decisions on a broader financial scale—from saving and spending, to investment and retirement planning, wealth transfer, business succession and charitable giving.

Scott feels especially proud to have managed clients' money and emotion amid the volatility of 1987, 2000, 2008, 2020 and 2022. A significant majority of those clients remain with him today—three and now four generations, in fact. He believes that is due to his ability to manage investment risk and help clients prosper from new opportunities as they present themselves.

"Given my decades of experience, I rarely see situations I have not encountered previously. I feel fortunate to have a long memory and enduring relationships. It is my intention to help clients benefit from others I have helped. As an established, high caliber team, we feel privileged to address the needs and nuances of ambitious people."

Relishing the trust that clients have placed in him—and, in many cases, the referrals they have sent him—Scott has celebrated clients' most significant milestones at weddings, birthdays and anniversary parties.

Scott holds a B.A. degree from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia. He grew up in Wilton, Connecticut and resides today in Wenham, Massachusetts with his wife, Christine.

An "equine and canine" enthusiast, Scott is a lifelong equestrian who has ridden jumpers and driven Standardbred racehorses. He also raises and shows dogs around the country including The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York. He and Christine are proud parents of a daughter (an advisor at UBS) and a son (an advisor at JPMorgan). Generous with his time, Scott has served many years as a trustee at The Children's Center for Communications, formerly The Beverly School for the Deaf.
