About Harvey
Harvey Boshart is a Executive Director, Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in Boston.
He provides investment management guidance for clients of Fagan, Boshart & Trumbull Wealth Management by drawing extensively on J.P. Morgan's strategists, economists and analysts to provide advice on asset allocation and manager selection. Harvey pays particular attention to the risk level of a portfolio in order to assure that clients protect their purchasing power and do not assume unnecessary risk in order to meet their income and growth goals. Utilizing both passive and active management strategies, Harvey constructs asset allocations that focus on taking advantage of the opportunities he identifies for outperformance over market cycles.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan predecessor firm Bear Stearns in 2006, Harvey worked in various capacities at Lehman Brothers for six years.
Harvey is a graduate of Clarkson University, where he earned a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He went on to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army, after which he earned his M.B.A. in Finance, with high honors, from Boston University. In 2004, Harvey received his Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, a respected and recognized investment designation in the financial services industry. Harvey's educational background, investment knowledge and attention to detail are vital components in constructing portfolios aligned with each client's specific risk tolerance.
Harvey lives in Weston, Massachusetts, with his son and daughter. As the former Chairman of the Town of Weston Finance Committee, Harvey stays actively involved in his town's governance as a member of the Town Select Board. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, the Celtics and spending time with his family.
