Jamie Fagan is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Jamie Fagan is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner, and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. With 40 years of industry experience, Jamie has built a dependable team of financial professionals who aim to provide a first-class experience to their clients. He oversees the group’s traditional fixed income strategies while also helping to develop creative income-generating strategies in low-yielding markets. Jamie cultivates relationships with spheres of influence in order to develop and deliver holistic wealth plans. He is also a member of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, a select group of advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary client portfolios and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative reviews to assess their investment strategies.
Jamie leverages the strength and reputation of J.P. Morgan to provide affluent individuals, families, corporate executives and foundations with a host of industry-leading investment services and tools to help them pursue their financial goals. Jamie’s industry knowledge, honed through both professional and nonprofit endowment affiliations, frames his ability to help clients identify and solve the complicated financial issues they often face. He and his team are adept at listening to concerns and financial objectives, and addressing their need for asset allocation, investment management guidance, and trust and estate planning.
Prior to beginning his J.P. Morgan tenure at a predecessor firm in 2006, Jamie was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, a Partner and Director of Private Client Group at SG Cowen, and a Senior Vice President at Smith Barney. An active member of his community, Jamie is a board member of SquashBusters, an inner-city afterschool program for youths in Boston, Lawrence and Providence. He is a member of the executive committee of The Somerset Club and serves on the board of the University Club. He is a former Chairman of the New England Aquarium’s Endowment in Boston and a past founding board member of The Turtle Ridge Foundation, an organization whose mission is to support disabled athletes. Previously, Jamie served as co-chair of the Investment Committee and Trustee for the Middlesex School in Concord, MA, and the Board of Trustees of the New England – Canada Business Council. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Jamie earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics. He currently lives in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood with his wife, Katie. Jamie and Katie have three grown daughters and enjoy gathering the family at their home in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. He is a five-time Massachusetts State Men’s Open Doubles Squash Champion and, in addition to playing squash, loves to ski, fish and golf.
