Michael Coyne is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
He delivers investment advisory guidance and active portfolio management to high-net-worth individuals and their families, business owners and entrepreneurs to help them address the sophisticated financial challenges that clients often face.
Michael has built a holistic practice that is focused on the entirety of each financial picture—investment requirements, trust & estate objectives, philanthropy, education and retirement objectives. He strives to develop asset allocations that align with differentiated goals and risk parameters. In an era where data is readily available, Michael draws on his intimate knowledge of both good and challenging markets to translate information into insights and customized strategies. Known for his personable manner, he serves as a trusted and caring resource for his clients.
With almost 30 years of financial investment experience, Michael began his career in 1994 as a broker for Bear Stearns. He moved to Morgan Stanley in 2008, where he continued to build his wealth management advisory skills. Michael joined J.P. Morgan in 2018, and is pleased to offer access to a robust investment platform and award-winning1 research team, which he delivers within a boutique setting. He welcomes the opportunity to help navigate the firm for the benefit of his successful client base.
Michael is a long-time student of the capital markets and maintains a strong interest in current events, economic news and financial analysis. He holds a B.A. from The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, where he majored in Liberal Arts and minored in Philosophy.
Married with three children, Michael and his wife live in Manchester by the Sea. Active in his local community, he runs the Little League program for his town. Michael is a member of the Parks & Recreation Committee and is a fervent supporter of the Manchester Essex Booster Club. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, golf and spending time on the water with his family.
