About Robert
Robert Mason is a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a founding member of The Corbett, Mason, and Warren Group, he leads the team's efforts in developing asset management strategies that address the complexities of significant capital.
Bob views himself as a Chief Investment Officer for the group, overseeing all critical elements of the investment process for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and C-suite executives. He is particularly adept at addressing the need for asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management. Bob draws on his 25 years of market experience to assist clients to both grow assets in bull markets and protect capital in bear markets.
As a member of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, Bob is one of a select group of advisors who manage portfolios on a discretionary basis and are subject to regular quantitative and qualitative reviews. This exacting attention to detail enables him to actively invest assets on behalf of individual clients. His focus is trained on designing strategies for growth, equity and fixed income objectives. Bob leverages his deep background to help corporate executives diversify away from their concentrated equity holdings.
With a career that spans nearly 30 years, Bob co-founded The Corbett, Mason, and Warren Group at Hambrecht & Quist to offer clients the benefit of the team's synergistic backgrounds.
Since then, they have served at Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, where Bob earned the Family Wealth Director designation. Together, the team joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 for the opportunity to leverage the firm's resources and expertise in advising ultra-high-net- worth clients. He is proud to have built a fully integrated wealth management practice which he couples with the substance of his investment experience.
Bob is a graduate of Providence College and resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with his wife and two children.
