About Norman
Norman Lang is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As the founder of The Lang Group, he provides tailored wealth management and executive services for high-net-worth individuals, small business owners and institutions. Norman is a member of the Portfolio Manager Program, an exclusive group of advisors who are qualified to manage discretionary assets, and are subject to ongoing qualitative and quantitative reviews.
With over three decades of immersion in the markets, Norman couples his experience and insights with intensive financial research to create individual investment approaches for clients. He looks at investing as more than the traditional "buy and sell," and believes The Lang Group offers value that transcends any transaction. Norman makes it a priority to know his clients and what they want to accomplish. He works diligently to earn their trust and to act in their best interests.
Norman begins each client relationship with a comprehensive assessment to understand their current financial situation and gain insight into their goals and objectives. He has earned a reputation for quality customer service, and his clients trust his judgment and ability to design and execute investment plans, follow up with regular monitoring, and make changes to adapt to their changing needs and market conditions. Norman accesses the world-class products and services offered through J.P. Morgan to assist his clients with strategic investments, trusts and estates, private banking, philanthropy, mortgages and credit.
Norman has dedicated his entire career to financial services. He began as a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney then Shearson Lehman Brothers before becoming a Vice President and Investment Advisor at Gruntal & Co. He joined Bear Stearns in 1997 and transitioned with his team to J.P. Morgan in 2008.
Norman graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in French. He is a Trustee of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind, and a donor and founder of the marathon team for Project Hope.
Norman and his wife, Tina, live in Brookline and have two adult sons, Maxwell and Austin. In his spare time, he is an avid fisherman, marathon runner, musician and filmmaker.
