Michael Phalen is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a principal member of The MP Group, Mike offers comprehensive investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, corporations and institutional clients to deliver strategies that address the full range of their sophisticated requirements.

Mike is highly adept at managing client relationships and developing marketing initiatives for the team. His attentive style equips him to present both institutional and wealth management strategies in a holistic and detail-oriented fashion. Mike utilizes quantitative approaches to drill down into market research and distill insights that inform trade execution (decisions) and investment ideas. Through his proficient use of technical analysis, he assesses investment risk and its accompanying impacts on portfolio development and asset management.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, he was a trader on the floor of the Boston Stock Exchange with Pershing Trading Company.

Mike holds a B.A. from Hamilton College and an M.S. in Investment Management from Boston University.

Originally from Duxbury, Mike continues to live in his hometown with his wife and three children. Involved in this vibrant community, he sits on the board for the nonprofit organization, Crossroads for Kids, whose mission is to empower under-resourced youth to unlock their potential, and positively impact the world. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and participating in triathlons.
