Eddie's process is comprehensive, and he pays close attention to the entirety of each individual's situation. His targeted knowledge of 10b5-1 plans enables him to help clients diversify their concentrated positions and make the most of equity compensation opportunities. Eddie studies all areas of the balance sheet, evaluating liabilities as well as assets to determine how they may be better managed. Together with his team, he relishes the challenge of developing approaches that are customized to individualized needs and personalized financial goals.
Known for relating well with clients, Eddie possesses a capability set that includes management oversight, business development and leadership skills. His strength lies in his expansive network and ability to connect people with the resources they need. Eddie uses a collaborative style to consult in a manner that is transparent and trusting. He welcomes the opportunity to build lasting relationships, and places emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience.
Eddie attended Appalachian State University, where he received a B.S. in Political Science. He earned an M.B.A. from Boston College, with a focus in Finance. Eddie is driven by an intense work ethic, and he held a customer service role in the athletic department on campus while simultaneously attending graduate school full-time. He has his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as Life Insurance and Accident, Health or Sickness licenses.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2019, Eddie spent 10 years with Marriott Hotels and Omni Hotels & Resorts in various sales management and client-focused roles. Interested in using his strong interactive skills in another high-touch industry, he pivoted toward financial services and wealth management. Eddie is pleased to deliver the strength and reputation of an industry leader as a benefit for his clients.
Originally from North Carolina, Eddie lives in Boston with his wife and daughter. He enjoys forming ties in his community and runs the local Appalachian State University alumni chapter. Previously, Eddie volunteered with a literacy program, reading to third-graders in the public school system. For fun, he golfs and goes cycling.
