Stephen Coyle is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Stephen develops deep and enduring relationships with clients and their families, helping them pursue their goals more effectively by listening closely to their priorities and pursuing their goals through integrated strategy and advice. He looks to serve as a client's core, trusted advisor, demonstrating his dedication to each client's well-being through steadfast integrity, hard work, and collaboration.
Within the team, Stephen focuses on portfolio design and asset allocation. He has spent his entire career addressing the investment needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and appreciates their distinctive liquidity needs, time horizons, asset class preferences, risk tolerance, and tax circumstances. Analytically skilled, Stephen offers a refined caliber of strategy and advice. He appreciates the importance of wealth preservation—particularly across generations— and supports clients by designing portfolios that are crafted to reflect their particular needs. Stephen is adept in both traditional and alternative investments, connecting clients to a robust slate of capabilities.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, Stephen spent more than six years with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he was a Vice President and Wealth Manager. He began his wealth management career in 2014 with the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Private Wealth Analyst. Committed to professional excellence, Stephen is a CFA®Charterholder, awarded through the CFA®Institute.
Stephen earned his B.A. in History from Duke University and his M.B.A. in Management Studies from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. While at Duke, Stephen was an NCAA National Champion lacrosse player and a 5-time NCAA lacrosse semifinalist. He earned numerous honors as a scholar-athlete, including three-time recognition on the All-ACC Academic Team.
Stephen and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with their two young sons.
