About Maxwell

Maxwell Lang is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a member of The Lang Group, he provides wealth management, portfolio strategy and design, investment consulting and executive services for high-net-worth clients, institutions and small business owners.

An accomplished student of the markets, Max takes a scientific view of the investment process, and employs fundamental and technical analysis to provide financial insights based on a study of quantitative patterns. He looks intently at data such as earnings momentum and examines it to identify trends that help guide the team's investment services.

Max offers clients highly personalized attention, and constructs and implements strategies for high-net-worth clients that target specific financial goals such as education, home purchases and retirement income. He also works with sophisticated investors who have more distinctive and complex objectives. For self-directed investors, he provides trading insights and education.

Max manages a growth portfolio of his own design, employing equity strategies that are proprietary to The Lang Group. He manages this portfolio in-house, avoiding outside advisors and additional fees.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Max was an Associate at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he focused on marketing and research. He began his career as a summer analyst during an internship at J.P. Morgan.

Max graduated from Vanderbilt University with B.A. in Physics and a minor in Finance. While there, he gained an appreciation for the scientific method, and developed his statistical and data analysis skills.

Max lives in Chestnut Hill, and in his free time enjoys sports and playing the piano. He is a passionate golfer still perfecting his game.
