Brian McCarthy is a Vice President and Liquidity Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the Central Florida, South Florida and Texas Central South regions.

The Liquidity Specialists are a team of dedicated, experienced professionals who partner with advisors and their clients to understand liquidity needs and develop bespoke cash management strategies that can align with client goals.

In his role, Brian works closely with J.P. Morgan advisors and their teams to support clients as they consider cash positioning, near-term funding needs and the role liquidity may play within their broader wealth plans. He brings more than a decade of financial services experience and a disciplined, market-informed perspective. He has a background in sales and trading, with a primary focus on fixed income markets.

Brian joined J.P. Morgan in 2025 as a Liquidity Specialist, returning to the firm after previously serving as a fixed income trader from 2016 through 2023. His experience contributes to thoughtful discussions around market dynamics, liquidity structure and implementation considerations, helping advisors frame cash management conversations with clarity and context.

Brian earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He lives in Chicago with his family and enjoys biking, playing basketball, cooking and traveling.
