About Carl

Carl Johnson is a Vice President and Retirement Plan Consultant at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of the Retirement Plan Consulting team, Carl provides leadership and guidance to the firm's clients and Advisors on a wide array of retirement planning topics, assisting them in establishing and managing various types of retirement plans to meet their goals and objectives. These include J.P. Morgan's extensive offerings, spanning 401(k), 403(b), 457, SEP IRA, and both traditional and cash balance defined benefit plans.
Carl has over a decade of retirement plan experience in the financial services industry. Before joining the Retirement Plan Consulting team at J.P. Morgan in 2021, he supported Financial Advisors and their clients in defined contribution and individual retirement plans at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.
Carl earned a B.S. in Finance from St. John's University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Originally from Connecticut, Carl resides on Manhattan's Upper East Side. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing and spending time on the beach.
