About Bruce
Bruce Beerbower is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Bruce delivers customized wealth management strategies to high- and ultra-high-net-worth families whose complex situations require sophisticated guidance. With over 20 years in the industry, his background reflects a rare combination of experience as a CPA and CFO in investment management, expertise in wealth planning strategies and investing in early-stage technology companies. Deep roots with alternative investments are an important component of his holistic approach to advising families and managing their wealth. Before joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Bruce spent a decade at BNY Mellon Wealth Management as Senior Director, Senior Wealth Manager and Senior Portfolio Manager, advising and managing investments for affluent families in the Midwest and Southern California. Prior to that, he served as CFO and partner at Talon Asset Management, a Chicago-based RIA whose sale to BNY Mellon he helped orchestrate. Earlier in his career, Bruce was CFO for the technology venture fund Kettle Partners and was a Board Member and strategic advisor to several portfolio companies, including Compliance 11 and SurePayroll. He began his career working as a CPA for Arthur Andersen in Chicago and credits his Midwest values as an important contributor to his successful client relationships.
A graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Bruce earned a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Finance through the honors program.
Bruce and his wife live in Manhattan Beach with their son, a Loyola High School student, and their dog. They also have a son and daughter at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to supporting Loyola High School, Bruce is committed to philanthropic interests targeting the homeless and underserved youth, including The Cara Program, St. Francis Center and Cure Epilepsy.
