About Charles
Charles Brooks is a Senior Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Charles works with business owners, senior executives, foundations, sports executives and entertainment professionals, supporting them as they consider complex financial decisions and pursue their goals. He offers wealth planning, investment strategy, portfolio construction, lending guidance and assistance with estate considerations, taking into account each client’s aspirations, values and time horizon. Charles brings a thoughtful, highly personalized approach to each relationship, focusing on building trust and aiming to help clients feel understood and supported at every stage.
With a strategic, relationship-driven philosophy, Charles connects clients with the advice, insights, people and opportunities that can assist them as they work toward their objectives. He draws from strong technical capabilities to support clients across a range of targeted areas, including equity compensation decisions, tax-aware structuring, management of concentrated stock positions, planning for liquidity events and long-term wealth structuring. When more complex needs arise, he serves as a central point of coordination across a network of specialists including legal, tax and other key areas. With a focus on clear communication and disciplined decision-making, he works to help clients approach important moments and milestones with greater confidence and perspective.
Charles joined J.P. Morgan in 2026 after beginning his financial services career at William Blair Private Wealth Management. He previously served as an executive fellow at Chick-fil-A Inc., where he worked closely with the office of the CEO and the corporate social responsibility team on strategic initiatives and business development efforts. Earlier in his career, he worked as a business development consultant delivering cloud-based services to large corporations. Charles earned an M.B.A. from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia and a B.A. in philosophy from Morehouse College. He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.
Inspired by the opportunity to support individuals through life’s milestones, Charles brings a perspective shaped by his upbringing as the son of a pastor. Like his father, he focuses on supporting individuals as they navigate challenges, prepare for the future and make important decisions along the way. He views his role as a way to help clients not just build wealth, but intentionally shape the life they want to live.
Outside of work, Charles enjoys running, weightlifting and spending time on the golf course.
