About Teresa

Teresa Golden is an Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Her knowledge of financial markets, investment services and team-based environments makes her an integral member of The Desser Group. Teresa is dedicated to client service, earning client trust by maintaining close personal contact and balancing and respecting their requirements and sensitivities. She manages the team's client service-related projects through the coordination and regulation of workflow and operational functions. Teresa oversees performance, and training of the team's junior sales support staff. She also is responsible for the compliance, regulatory, risk management and due diligence requirements for the team, and created procedures to resolve logistical and administrative client concerns.

Teresa's 27 years of industry experience includes 25 years with The Desser Group, building a successful reputation for helping clients in a high-pressure, fast-paced and competitive financial landscape. She distinguishes herself with her people skills, serving as the primary point of contact and taking time to carefully explain and review investment concepts, portfolio allocations and statements in a clear and accessible manner.

Beginning her industry career at Merrill Lynch in the broker training program in 1993, Teresa met and worked with Bill Desser, moving with him to Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan's predecessor firm, in 1995. She transitioned with The Desser Group to her current role in 2008.

Teresa is active as a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Los Angeles, a charitable organization devoted to promoting volunteerism through helping women and improving the community. She also spearheads Healthy Habits, a program she developed for The Boys and Girls Club in Venice. In her free time, Teresa and her husband love to travel.
