About Daniel

Daniel Chang is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As the newest partner of The DWC Team, Daniel and his team have been dedicated to serving families for generations. With nearly twenty years of professional experience in finance and accounting, Daniel takes pride in building long-lasting relationships and helping clients navigate the unique challenges and milestones that each stage of life brings. Daniel works closely with families and their other advisors, including CPAs and attorneys, to create customized plans that address their financial, estate and legacy planning needs.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Daniel was a Director at First Republic Investment Management and a Private Banking Associate at Credit Suisse. Daniel also developed extensive experience as a CPA serving publicly traded and privately held companies in manufacturing, retail, and financial services.

Daniel graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude in three years from UCLA, where he majored in Business Economics and had minors in Accounting and Chinese. He received his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition, Daniel holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation and is also a CFA® Charterholder.

As parents of a neurodiverse child, Daniel and his wife are actively involved in volunteering with local schools and supporting non-profit organizations focused on children with special needs. Their dedication to these causes is driven by a personal commitment to improving the lives of special needs kids and advocating for their needs. Daniel and his family reside in South Pasadena, California.
