About Ben
Ben Goebert is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Ben is a founding member of The FG Group and serves a specialized group of executives, founders and entrepreneurs in the technology, media and entertainment industries. He delivers a range of portfolio management and goals-based wealth planning services to align with his clients' short- and long-term objectives.
As a member of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, Ben is one of a select group of advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary portfolios and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative reviews to assess each advisor's investment strategy. He employs an array of third-party managers and couples these with J.P. Morgan's comprehensive investment management platform to build customized investment plans to address his clients' specific requirements.
Ben's engaging manner equips him to relate to a younger generation of wealth whose values and concerns he shares. He helps educate them on various areas of portfolio and wealth management as well as lending and banking to help add value to both sides of the balance sheet. He is dedicated to building and fostering trusted relationships conveyed with a boutique-quality experience that reflects his in-depth knowledge of wealth and investment management.
In a career that spans nearly two decades, Ben's financial services experience encompasses advisory and consulting roles at Commerce One, TD Ameritrade and Merrill Lynch. He co-founded The FG Group in 2014, which transitioned to J.P. Morgan in 2018.
Ben is an alumnus of the Windward School in Mar Vista and graduated from Northeastern University, earning a B.S. in International Business with concentrations in Finance and Spanish. As part of his academic program, he spent one year at ICADE Business School of Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid. Ben also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF) designation, manifesting his knowledge of and ability to apply fiduciary practices.
Ben has lived on both the East and West coasts, as well as in Mexico and Spain, and is fluent in Spanish. He now resides in Mar Vista with his wife, Jessica, and their young children, Ryder and Chloe. In his free time, Ben enjoys cooking, traveling and rooting for the Dodgers, Lakers and Arsenal.
