About Karla
Karla Taylor is a Vice President and Client Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
She works with The Gluck Group, managing daily operations for the team's high-net-worth client base. Karla's responsibilities encompass client relations, development, reporting and administration. In her role, Karla designs and implements processes and procedures to ensure a seamless work flow.
Karla's 38+ year tenure in financial services initially began in food service, when she worked in a restaurant frequented by industry professionals. Impressed by her work ethic and people skills, two of her regular customers encouraged her to pursue a career at their securities firm. Karla draws on additional personal traits of authenticity, transparency and honesty to help her clients navigate technology and documentation issues prevalent in today's highly regulated environment.
Karla joined a J.P. Morgan predecessor firm in 1985, burnishing her financial skills in institutional trading, compliance and new account management. She believes that background gave her a solid foundation that contributes to her success in her current role. Karla was invited to join The Gluck Group in 1994.
Born in Philadelphia, Karla attended Bishop College in Dallas (now affiliated with Georgetown College in Kentucky). She has three adult children and one grandson. Karla and her husband, Kenny, a Chaplain at Union Rescue Mission, are actively involved with various programs offered at the Mission.
