About Lance
Lance Polverini is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Lance delivers strategic financial advice and market perspectives to legacy families, founders, co-founders and C-suite executives of public and private companies, helping them create a unified path to pursuing their most important ambitions and aspirations. He pairs his investment acumen with a deep appreciation for clients and their priorities to help transform their vision for their wealth into a meaningful impact for future generations.
Clients look to Lance for his keen understanding of the complexities and opportunities encountered in managing their investments, inspiring confidence in his ability to unwind the intricacies of their substantial wealth. He grounds his advice in a disciplined process based on statistics and quantitative analysis to set expectations and measure performance against these goals. Given the uncertain nature of investing, Lance approaches each decision with bounded rationality, augmenting his investment thesis with new inputs as they arise. His long, proven history of advisory guidance derives from his consistent and predictable process.
Lance's nearly two-decade career with The Gray-Polverini Group was spent at Merrill Private Wealth Management, where he was a Senior Financial Analyst, Vice President and First Vice President. He transitioned with the team in his present capacity to J.P. Morgan in 2024.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Lance earned a B.A. in Political Science and Government. He also holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Lance is a CFA® Charterholder awarded through the CFA® Institute.
Lance and his amazing wife, Amy, live in Pasadena with their two sons. Amy is a renowned surgeon, and his family is active with SCRUBS, an organization dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives in Pasadena. Lance is deeply interested in causes that support children and youth, serving on the board of Five Acres, a longstanding nonprofit in Pasadena that provides a pathway to permanence for children in crisis. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending his sons' soccer practices, and playing golf and tennis.
