About Catherine

Catherine Chase is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a founding member of The DWC Team, Catherine has over three decades of private banking and investment advisory experience working with high-net-worth families, executives, business owners and private foundations. She uses her tax background in conjunction with her investment experience to create customized wealth plans and portfolios for her clients. Catherine and her team of experienced professionals approach each client with empathy, integrity, and a commitment to helping them achieve their goals, whether that's securing a comfortable retirement, protecting loved ones, or preserving family wealth for the future.

Before returning to J.P. Morgan, Catherine was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with First Republic Investment Management. Previously, she spent several years with Credit Suisse Private Bank and Lehman Brothers. Catherine began her career with J.P Morgan Private Bank, working in the fiduciary tax department preparing tax returns for trusts, estates and private foundations. She also focused on stock option planning for corporate executives during the dot-com bubble.

Catherine received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware and a master's in taxation from Widener University. She served 10 years on the Board of Directors for The Wooden Floor in Santa Ana, CA. When she's not working closely with her clients, Catherine enjoys an active lifestyle, including hiking, playing golf, and pickleball. She also cherishes the time she spends with her husband and 2 children. Catherine and her family reside in Manhattan Beach, California.
