About Julie

Julie Lawrence is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Julie is a member of The Gildea Group, and works closely with affluent individuals and families, customizing investment portfolios to the specific preferences and goals of her clients. She brings a hands-on and service driven approach to direct her team in facilitating the full breadth of wealth management needs—banking, mortgage, lending and more—in a comprehensive fashion and all with one firm.
One of Julie's core strengths is to monitor the investment landscape, gathering as much fundamental and technical research as possible to find value in the marketplace. She balances that with support for the portfolio itself, delivering recommendations across equities, bonds and mutual funds. As a testament to Julie's caring nature, many of her clients have been with her since the beginning of her 30-year career. She takes the responsibility of her role very seriously and treats each individual as if they were a member of her own family.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in Finance, Julie immediately started her professional path in financial services, joining Lehman Brothers in 1992. She worked very closely under her mentor, who shared his extensive market experience and was committed to her success in becoming an advisor. She has been with J.P. Morgan for the last 25 years.
Julie enjoys city life. She lives on the North Side of Chicago with her husband and is busy raising her son. Outside of the office, Julie takes the most pleasure in traveling, whether to the beach, to the mountains for hiking and skiing, or on an international adventure. A former volunteer tutor at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, she is now involved at her son's school.
