About Max
Max Nutkowitz is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of The Gordon & Nutkowitz Group, he creates and manages investment portfolio strategies for high-net-worth clients, corporate executives, institutions, small business owners and retirees. Max holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) certification, one of the most respected designations in financial planning.
With 25 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor, Max maintains a conservative and consistent investing process that emphasizes capital preservation and long- term goals. He believes in dedicating his time and resources to a select group of clients, allowing him to develop deeper relationships and offer exceptional and personalized service.
Max brings a disciplined style to tailored portfolio management, developing individual plans for each client and creating approaches based on their objectives. This allows him to select among the suitable investments that are available and to be tax efficient. He also focuses on creating income for retirees and believes that retirement goals should be a key element of any financial plan, whether you are still working, considering your options, or are already retired.
Working across multiple generations, Max takes a family office approach to his relationships and consults closely with clients' CPAs and attorneys as part of his comprehensive wealth management methodology. He personally finds it fulfilling to help individuals pursue their goals and have the comfort of knowing they have a plan in place.
Max has spent his entire career in financial services and wealth management. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Max spent 18 years at Wells Fargo Advisors where he attained the title of First Vice President.
Max graduated from Kettering University with a B.S. in Business Management and is active in the community. Formerly, he was a board member of the Kettering University Alumni Association and the Night Ministry, and is a past President of The Bond Club of Chicago. Max and his wife live in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago along with their son and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and traveling.
