About Daniel

Daniel Resnick is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As the founder of The Resnick Group at J.P. Morgan, Danny leads a team that provides sophisticated wealth management advice and strategies to high-net-worth individuals and institutions. His clients include business owners, corporate executives, financial services professionals, employer-sponsored retirement plans and professional athletes.

Danny listens carefully to understand his clients' unique goals before delivering customized advice and strategies. Through many market cycles, his guidance has helped clients focus on the durability and importance of their long-term planning. Danny combines this 'big picture' perspective with fine-tuned, meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful portfolio implementation.

With over 17 years of industry experience, Danny's background spans both institutional capital markets and wealth management. After starting his career in fixed-income sales & trading and commercial real estate finance, he decided to transition to wealth management in 2007. He was drawn to the opportunity to combine his entrepreneurial ambition—similar to that of many of his clients—with his passion for interpersonal relationships and problem-solving.

Danny grew up in the Chicago area and earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University. He also received his M.B.A. in Analytical Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Danny lives in Northbrook with his wife, Jenifer, their son, Blake, and daughter, Maya. He enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga and coaching youth baseball and flag football.
