Kris Cawthon is a Business Management Specialist with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
He supports his team by managing day-to-day operations. His tasks include executing trades, relationship management, and the operational implementation of investment strategies. Kris also serves as the point of contact for clients and handles their account questions, as well as investment inquiries and money transfers.
Kris's 15 years of financial services experience are marked by a passion for the securities markets. He chose a career in investment management based on his analytical and technical skills and numbers orientation. By understanding clients and their priorities, Kris successfully interacts with them to help resolve issues before they may arise.
Kris began his financial services career in 2002, when he became a Licensed Wealth Manager for Merrill Lynch. He continued working as a Wealth Manager until he joined JPMorgan Chase in 2006, where he served as a Branch Manager at several banking centers. In 2012, Kris moved to Comerica Bank as a Licensed Personal and Business Financial Specialist, and rejoined J.P. Morgan in his present capacity in 2013.
Kris grew up in Texas, and graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. in Business Administration. He and his wife, Brittany, live in Rockwall with their daughter, Lauren, and son, Brody. In his free time, Kris enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and traveling with his family.
