About Forrest
Forrest Green is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of The SGH Group, Forrest provides integrated strategy and advice to business owners, professionals, executives and other wealth creators. With more than two decades of experience, he is skilled in helping clients and their families discern what they want to accomplish with their wealth and taking action to confidently execute their wealth management plans.
Clients look to Forrest for his ability to resolve complex planning issues, from transferring wealth to the next generation, diversifying a concentrated stock position, preparing a privately held business for sale or generating reliable cash flow. Forrest has advised wealthy families for over 20 years, allowing him to share the experience he has gained during multiple economic cycles. Well versed in alternative investments, he offers a refined perspective on the asset class, helping clients balance their exposure to liquid and illiquid investments. Forrest is also adept in the mergers and acquisitions space, having led multiple business owners through successful sales. He relates well to clients from varied life stages— from matriarchs and patriarchs leaving their legacies, to Millennials and Gen Z still in the accumulation phase— allowing multiple generations to lean on his advice for years to come.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Forrest earned his B.A. in Communications with a minor in Business Management. The oldest of four children, he paid for 100% of his own college education. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, which denotes he is obligated to put clients' interests ahead of his own, a responsibility he takes very seriously. Forrest also holds Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Forrest has worked as a Financial Advisor since 2004. He began his wealth management career with Bernstein Private Wealth Management, where he spent 14 years and was a Principal. In 2018, Forrest moved to J.P. Morgan with his team.
Within his community, Forrest currently serves on the board of the Houston Racquet Club and is the immediate past president of the Texas Hearing Institute Foundation board. He has also coached SBMSA youth soccer and POLL baseball for many years and is a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
A fifth-generation Texan, Forrest has called Houston home for over 25 years. He and his wife, Paige, have three teenage children and are always looking forward to their next family adventure.
