Hayden Kerns is a Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of the SGH Group, Hayden advises professionals across the span of their careers, from wealth accumulators seeking goals-based planning strategies to business owners contemplating exit plans. He provides high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with tailored advice to relieve the burdens significant wealth can pose, empowering clients to dedicate their time and energy on the priorities that truly matter in their lives.
Being a third generation Wealth Advisor, Hayden leverages the full resources of J.P. Morgan to provide his clients with a comprehensive, one-stop source for consumer and community banking, corporate and investment banking, commercial banking and lending, wealth management and financial planning. With access to J.P. Morgan's alternatives platform and access to private investments, he is a conduit to a broad suite of diversified investments.
Utilizing a comprehensive due diligence process, Hayden discerns clients' objectives, time horizons, risk tolerance and tax situations. His clients, including business owners, corporate executives, retirees and divorcees, benefit from his empathetic and technical approach. His due diligence process is meticulously designed to evolve with shifting client priorities, seamlessly accommodating significant life transitions such as the disposition of a business, retirement, inheritance, divorce or a loss of a spouse.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2025, Hayden worked as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch with a focus on helping clients with wealth structuring and pre-liquidity-event planning. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Commercial Lender at Frost Bank with a focus on commercial and industrial businesses. A graduate of Texas Christian University, Hayden holds a B.B.A. from the Neeley School of Business, where he majored in Finance.
Born and raised in Houston, Hayden is active member of Grace Bible Church and the Houston Rodeo, specifically Breeders Greeters. Hayden and his wife, Alexis, enjoy spending time with their Golden Retriever, Goose. Hayden enjoys playing golf with family, friends and clients and aspires to play beautiful courses all over the world.
