About Karoline
Karoline Humphries is an Investment Associate and Vice President at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As an integral member of SGH Group, Karoline holds a number of responsibilities, including overseeing team operations, managing the team’s alternative investments platform, guiding client-service initiatives, implementing portfolio refinements and fostering a culture of diligence and precision. Karoline plays an influential role in delivering an exceptional experience to the team’s clientele, founded on her ability to spearhead large-scale projects.
Karoline began her wealth management career in 2005 at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. During her tenure, she developed her knowledge across the investment landscape, including asset allocation, tax strategies and ongoing portfolio review. In 2018, Karoline and her team moved to J.P. Morgan, where she combines her investment acumen with the ability to deliver an integrated suite of services, encompassing banking, lending, planning and wealth transfer. Deeply committed to the clients entrusted to her care, Karoline greatly enjoys working with multi-generational clients, from grandparents and parents down to the youngest family members. She takes pride in dedicating her full attention to their needs, demonstrating each person’s importance through creative problem-solving and reliable responsiveness. From 2021 through 2023, Karoline proudly served as Chair of the JPMA Client Associate Council, which was founded by Phil Sieg, CEO of J.P. Morgan Advisors. The Council consists of top Client Associates across the firm, selected to champion key initiatives and collaborate with J.P. Morgan partners to facilitate the best client experience possible. Inspired by a mindset of continuous improvement, Karoline was instrumental to the Council’s launch and subsequent success.
Karoline earned her B.M. and an M.M. in Music Performance from Rice University for viola and orchestral studies. She holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
Karoline lives in Houston with her husband Kyle, son Evan, and daughter Skylar. Outside of work, she co-chairs the School Supplies Committee at her daughter's school, is passionate about the arts, and enjoys travel, especially with her family to Maine.
