About Jalene

Jalene Barlow is a Vice President and Wealth Planner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with 15+ years in the financial services industry, Jalene’s areas of planning focus include Social Security, healthcare/Medicare and long-term care. Based on first-hand experience with her own family, she is passionate about helping families prepare for financial stability through life events.

Jalene began her financial services career during the economic downturn of 2008 with a front-row seat to the difference between financially-secure clients who had planned, versus those who had not. Over the next decade, she worked at a top variable annuity carrier, a well-known pension asset manager, and as a broker/dealer advisory specialist. She was involved in financial software design immediately prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2020, where she spent four years as a Financial Planning Specialist before moving over to her current role on the Wealth Planning and Advice team.

A native Texan, Jalene holds an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in History from her hometown’s University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She now resides in San Diego and lives for travel and concerts.
