About Jay

Jay Caceres is an Executive Director and Investment Product Specialist covering the Manhattan, New Jersey and Penn Atlantic regions at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Positioned as a central connection point between the firm’s Chief Investment Office, Global Investment Strategy and the advisor network, Jay helps translate market insights, asset-class research and portfolio perspectives into actionable guidance. He partners closely with advisors to support thoughtful portfolio construction and implementation, providing perspective around investment themes and positioning across varied market environments.

Jay brings a deep background in multi-asset portfolio strategy and client portfolio management. He works with advisors to interpret evolving market conditions and consider how different investment approaches may align with client objectives, drawing on a disciplined, research-driven perspective. His role also includes helping advisors navigate the firm’s investment platform and evaluate opportunities across asset classes, including when alternative strategies may be appropriate.

Jay joined J.P. Morgan in 2025 from BlackRock Investment Management, LLC, where he served as a Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategist and worked closely with portfolio managers overseeing significant institutional assets. Previously, as a Client Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc., he focused on customized portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career at TD Ameritrade, Inc., he supported affluent clients with their investment management needs.

Before earning an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business, Jay completed advanced finance studies at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds both an M.S. and a B.S. in Finance from Rider University. Jay is a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designee.
