Katarina Markovic is an Executive Director and Alternative Investments Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the Western region.

Katarina has amassed a global network of relationships over 25 years working with an array of alternative investment managers. Her background includes hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, private credit and real estate. Katarina communicates investment strategies to advisors and their clients, simplifying complex concepts in understandable terms. Her depth and breadth of knowledge in this space makes her a value-added resource for positioning portfolios to pursue the best possible yield.

Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2022, Katarina was a Managing Director of Business Development and Investor Relations (BD/IR) for Sachs Capital Group, LP. Previous roles include Managing Director of BD/IR at RD Legal Capital, Director of Business Development at LKS Capital, and Vice President of Investor Relations at Epsilon Investment Management. Katarina also founded an independent consulting practice representing alternative investment firms focused on aviation financing, venture debt, structured credit and specialty lending. She began her career at Merrill Lynch in 1996 as a Senior Financial Advisor.

Katarina holds a B.S. in International Economics from Marymount College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Rollins College.
