About Kevin Xiong

Kevin Xiong is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As the team’s head of client strategy, Kevin provides holistic financial guidance to founders, families, and corporate executives in shaping their investment and wealth planning strategies before and after liquidity events. His focus areas include investment portfolio optimization, concentrated position management, tax mitigation, estate planning, insurance strategies, and corporate cash management, supported by the global capabilities of J.P. Morgan.

Kevin’s approach draws upon years of advisory and strategic leadership in the innovation economy. As a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s San Francisco office, Kevin advised executive teams of Fortune 100 healthcare, technology, and consumer companies on growth strategy, digital transformation, and operational excellence. His digital health expertise led him to Microsoft-funded health data startup Truveta, where he helped the company secure its Series A funding round and grow to over 100 employees. Subsequently, Kevin was recruited by Cedar, a healthcare fintech unicorn backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, Tiger Global, and Thrive Capital to serve as Chief of Staff, then as Director of Product Strategy & Operations. Motivated by a desire to work directly with clients to make an impact in their lives, Kevin rejoined J.P. Morgan, where he began his career over a decade ago as a Summer Analyst.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics and secondary (minor) in Applied Mathematics. He also holds a Master of Philosophy in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge, graduating with first-class honors as a John Eliot Harvard-Cambridge Scholar.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys painting, producing music, sailing, and cooking with his fiancé. Kevin is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and volunteers with several non-profits, including as a trustee of the Charity of Edward Hopkins, the U.S.’ oldest charitable trust.
