About Liam

Liam Dougherty is a Vice President and Custom Lending Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the Eastern region.

As a member of the Custom Lending team, Liam partners with Advisors and their teams to tailor complex credit strategies to the sophisticated needs of their ultra-high-net-worth clientele. He leverages the firm's thought leadership to open avenues to financing of jet aircraft, luxury yachts, life insurance premiums and certain commercial investment properties. J.P. Morgan's Custom Lending platform supports large-dollar capital facilities secured by concentrated stock positions, restricted securities and pre-IPO equity holdings, as well as other more esoteric collateral such as fine art collections.

Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2021, Liam was a Tailored Lending Transaction Manager for UBS Bank USA. There, he worked with Advisors to deliver a liability strategy for ultra-high-net-worth clients whose funding needs could not easily be met through standard securities-backed approaches. He joined UBS in 2011, and his previous roles included Banking Solutions Lead Specialist and Client Service Associate.

Liam graduated from Loyola University in Maryland, earning a B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
