About Matthew

Matthew Lewis is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Matt works closely with clients to develop tailored investment portfolios that reflect their diversification needs, time horizons, risk tolerance, and liquidity constraints. Working in concert with the members of his team, he offers a tax-sensitive approach grounded in a perceptive grasp of each client's circumstances. Matt also integrates investment design within a client's overall wealth framework, aligning planning, wealth transfer, charitable giving, and lending.

Within the team, Matt also contributes to trading and investment operations, reporting, client communications, and coordination with a client's external tax and legal advisors. He is gratified to make clients' financial lives simpler and easier, streamlining a path to their goals.

Matt has worked at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management since 2023. Previously, he served as a Real Estate Development Analyst with American Liberty Investments, his family's real estate investment business. Earlier in his career, Matt spent more than four years with the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Registered Private Wealth Analyst, focused on the needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Matt earned his M.S. and his B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He holds FINRA Series 7, 66 and 79 securities licenses and has successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials®(SIE®) Exam.

Outside the office, Matt likes to practice jiu-jitsu, golf, ski, follow Trojan football, and watch professional basketball.
