About William

William Rodriguez is a Vice President and Wealth Planner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

William works closely with clients to help them anticipate and prepare for key decision points in their financial lives. Active in investing and wealth management since 2016, he understands the needs and interests of an accomplished clientele, helping them delineate their objectives and pursue those priorities more effectively.

Within the team, William holds a number of responsibilities. He serves as the lead planner, creating customized wealth management plans for each client or family and following up regularly to sustain steady momentum on their initiatives. William also coordinates the team's operations, facilitating an organized workflow, overseeing consistent processes, and maintaining accurate documentation. Finally, William is adept in trading execution, drawing on his experience in the capital markets. He serves as a go-to resource for all client inquiries, dispatching those needs with persistence and resolve.

William moved to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023 with his team. Previously, he served as an Associate Director with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he worked for more than five years. William began his investment career in 2016 with Wedbush Securities, where he served as a Credit Analyst.

William earned his B.A. in Business and Economics from California State University, Long Beach. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification awarded by the CFP® Board of Standards, Inc., and is fluent in Spanish.

A resident of Los Angeles, William lives with his wife, Mary Helen, and their daughter, Luna. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Active in his community, William volunteers with several non-profit organizations that aim to improve the lives of children and low-income families throughout South Los Angeles.
