About Antonio

Antonio Fontana is a Managing Director and a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. He and his team offer corporate cash services, executive compensation and concentrated stock position strategies, short-term fixed income and equity investment services to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, institutions, family offices, foundations and endowments. He leverages the resources of J.P. Morgan's investment platform and intellectual capital to deliver new-issue fixed income and equities, secondary-issue equities and fixed income strategies.

Antonio's nearly 20 years of investment experience stem from his early interest in the stock market and his background as an entrepreneur in the wholesale commodities business, which ultimately led to his current role building and managing diversified portfolios. In a business that demands trust and follow-through, he supplies both through a discipline of high-level customer service, balancing quality investments with their risk guidelines and forging strong relationships.

Taking an unconventional path toward investment management, Antonio built and sold two businesses before he was age 25. He began his career in financial services at Morgan Stanley in 1995 and moved to Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) from 2001 to 2006. Antonio became a Managing Director at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2008, prior to joining J.P. Morgan in his present capacity in 2014.

Antonio is a native of Southern California, and lives in Redondo Beach with his wife, Angela, and their two teenage sons. Deeply involved in serving his community, he has spent many years coaching youth athletics. In his free time, Antonio likes to golf, cycle and surf.
