About Jesus
Jesus Cabrera (J.C.) is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
J.C. works with multi-generational families and sophisticated, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, guiding them in preserving their wealth and establishing a meaningful philanthropic legacy. He delivers J.P. Morgan's institutional-caliber advice, intellectual capital and market knowledge to help design a strategic wealth management plan.
As a founder of The Fernandez Cabrera Group, J.C. forges strong relationships and creates customized investment strategies for his clients, including formulation and implementation of asset allocation strategies, investment management, and alternative assets.
J.C. has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, and draws from his background as an analyst, portfolio manager and strategist to develop a long-term plan to assist his affluent client base in pursuing their goals. He is intimately familiar with the challenges and opportunities they face, and he offers investment approaches to address their needs in changing economic environments.
In a career that spans three decades, J.C. was a Senior Vice President and a Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS before joining J.P. Morgan in 2023. Earlier, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he was an active member of the firm's Private Client Investment Policy Group. Previously, he oversaw a multi-billion-dollar portfolio at Scudder Investments and led a multi-generational family office and the trust department of a regional bank in Florida.
J.C. graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
He and his wife, Liana, reside in Coral Gables, Florida.
