About Torren
Torren Szuluk is an Executive Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Torren works closely with high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals who seek sophisticated guidance to address the full spectrum of today's wealth management needs. He acts as a powerful advocate, helping navigate the financial decisions necessitated by complex balance sheets and substantial assets.
The cornerstone of Torren's approach is multi-generational planning—trust and estate strategies, charitable gifting, retirement planning, wealth transfer and more. Through the use of modeling tools, he constructs portfolios that may include traditional assets as well as alternative investments, private equity, private debt and hedge funds. By building strong relationships with the entire family, he helps preserve their wealth for future generations and enhance the footprint they wish to leave on the world. He enjoys developing tailored approaches that align with the highly personalized scenarios of each client.
Over a nearly 30-year career, Torren has worked in Palm Beach and Miami—two of the most dynamic markets in Florida. He is known for delivering very responsive customer service, scaling one of the world's largest financial institutions down to a boutique level. Torren's experience spans Wachovia/Wells Fargo Private Bank of Palm Beach and UBS Private Wealth Management Palm Beach. Most recently, he was with Smith Barney/Morgan Stanley, where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and a Director of alternative investments.
Torren earned a B.S. from North Carolina State University and holds FINRA Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
Originally from the Delray, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach areas, Torren served on the Board of Operation 120, an organization that provides supportive housing and transitional life skill services to displaced and at-risk female military veterans. He is also a UHealth Champion with the University of Miami.
Torren and his wife now reside in Miami Beach. A lacrosse family, his two college aged sons play the sport at Johns Hopkins University and Roger Williams University.
