Michael Ramsey is a Vice President and Liquidity Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the Southern California region.

The Liquidity Specialists are a team of dedicated, experienced professionals who partner with advisors and their clients to understand liquidity needs and develop bespoke cash management strategies that can align with client goals.

In his role, Mike helps bring clarity to how cash fits within a broader wealth strategy. He collaborates with advisors to explore approaches that can enhance cash yield while maintaining flexibility for upcoming opportunities or obligations. His work is centered on understanding each client’s liquidity profile and helping advisors incorporate thoughtful cash management considerations alongside broader portfolio and planning discussions. Mike also helps evaluate the competitive landscape and prevailing rate environment, supporting the development of customized strategies intended to align with both near- and long-term liquidity priorities while maintaining a focus on principal stability.

Mike joined J.P. Morgan in 2024. Previously, he served as an Associate Vice President at Nuveen Investments, where he worked across multiple market areas including municipal bonds, taxable fixed income, equities and alternatives. Across nearly a decade in financial services, Mike has developed experience supporting advisors with market insights and investment perspectives. He holds a B.S. in Business Management as well as the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Mike lives in Redondo Beach, California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and pursuing hobbies such as surfing, baseball and golf.
