About Joseph
Joe Giaimo is a Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Joe offers a range of goals-based wealth planning services to executives, business owners, professionals rising in their careers, those approaching retirement, high-net-worth individuals and their families. He delivers guidance on investments, multi-generational transfer, business succession and legacy planning.
Over the course of his professional life, Joe has demonstrated a reputation for building deep client relationships and bestowing on each one the care and attention they deserve.
They are drawn to his personal characteristics of relatability, trustworthiness and professionalism.
Joe spent ten years as a development professional at Wesleyan University, Lafayette College and Rutgers University, where he fostered
trusted relationships with donors and high-net-worth individuals to advance their philanthropy and charitable giving plans. More recently, he served in a business operations and management capacity at Fedway Associates, a solely owned, family-run wholesale distribution company based in New Jersey, where he gained exposure in front-line sales, marketing, and day-to-day headquarters and warehouse operations. Joe joined J.P. Morgan in 2023 in a pivot to wealth management that aligns with his passion for the advisory business and the opportunity for his clients to benefit from the firm's leadership and resources as they pursue their personal financial and investment management goals.
A graduate of Wesleyan University, Joe earned a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus on Social Sciences. He was a two-sport college captain for both varsity football and baseball. Joe serves on the Wesleyan Athletic Advisory Council and is in the Varsity Baseball Hall of Fame. He also holds an M.B.A. in Strategy and Leadership from Rutgers University and FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Joe has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation, which attests to his strong understanding of fiduciary duty and how to apply it to managing investments. At J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, this allows him to work with individual clients and families to the highest standards and meet the firm's requirements for onboarding and guiding corporate retirement plans, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Joe is committed to his community, as evidenced by his service as a mentor to early career and established professionals. He continues to engage with the charitable organizations where he has worked and, with his wife, supports initiatives around education, athletics, the medical field and causes in their community.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Joe and his wife, Emily, a nurse practitioner, live in Millington with their two children, Siena and Joey. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, fitness, traveling, podcasts, cheering for the New York Giants and Yankees, and spending time at the Jersey Shore.
